  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

🌿 Seasoning:

  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional for smoky flavor)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

🧀 Creamy Mixture:

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 large eggs

🧀 Cheese Topping:

  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

👩‍🍳 Method

🔥 1. Preheat oven

Set your oven to 190°C (375°F).
Grease a 9×13 baking dish with a little oil or butter.

🥩 2. Cook the meat

In a large pan, cook the ground beef or shaved steak over medium-high heat until browned and fully cooked.
Break it apart while cooking for even texture.
Drain excess fat if needed.

🌶️ 3. Add vegetables

Add onion, bell peppers, mushrooms, and garlic to the pan.
Cook for 5–6 minutes until soft, tender, and aromatic.

Season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well so everything is evenly coated.

🥘 4. Transfer to dish

Spread the cooked beef and vegetables evenly into the prepared baking dish.

🧀 5. Prepare creamy layer

In a bowl, whisk together cream cheese, mayonnaise, and eggs until smooth and creamy with no lumps.

🧑‍🍳 6. Assemble casserole

Pour the creamy mixture over the beef layer and spread evenly.
Top with provolone and mozzarella cheese for a rich cheesy crust.

🔥 7. Bake

Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the top is golden, melted, and bubbling.

⏳ 8. Rest & serve

Let it sit for 5 minutes after baking so it sets properly.
Then slice and serve warm.
