Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp mustard (optional)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional π₯)
- 4 burger buns
- 2 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)

- Cook Onion & Garlic
Heat oil in a pan on medium heat.
Add chopped onion β cook until soft (2β3 mins).
Add garlic β cook for 30 seconds. - Add Chicken
Add shredded chicken β mix well with onions. - Make BBQ Sauce Mix
Add BBQ sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
Stir everything together. - Simmer
Cook for 5β7 minutes on low heat until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken nicely. - Toast Buns
Spread butter on buns and toast on a pan until golden. - Assemble
Add BBQ chicken mixture onto buns.
Top with cheese, coleslaw, or pickles if you like.
